Amsterdam Light Festival

The 7th edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival will take place from November 29, 2018 until January 20, 2019. This unique annual light art festival in the historic center of Amsterdam, revolves this year around the theme ‘The Medium is the Message’. The famous statement by the Canadian scientist Marshall McLuhan.

The Amsterdam Light Festival quickly became one of the most important light art festivals in Europe. Artwork from both The Netherlands- and other countries all over the world decorate the canals of Amsterdam, all made within the same theme. Sail through a sea of light during our special Amsterdam Light Festival nighttour, while the hostess serves you a nice mulled wine or hot chocolate. Snuggle underneath your electric heated blanket and enjoy the view!
